On the vibrant evening of 2nd November 2025, the Club House of Fern's Habitat, Doddanekkundi transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, music, and laughter as Bangalore Warrier Samajam (BWS) hosted our much-awaited Dandiya Night. Traditionally celebrated during Navratri to honor the divine feminine, the triumph of good over evil, and the spirit of community dance, this year’s event was elevated to a grand celebration of Navratri, Deepawali, and Kannada Rajyotsava - a beautiful fusion of traditions that reflected the cultural richness and inclusivity of BWS.
A Night to Remember
The evening began with a heartfelt welcome by our beloved president Shri MV Vijayan, whose words set the tone for an unforgettable night.
Over 150+ members gathered, dressed in dazzling ethnic attire, ready to dance, connect, and celebrate.
The dance floor came alive with an energetic Garbha followed by Bollywood-envying moves from members and families, radiating joy and energy.
Soulful singing performances by several talented members added a melodic charm, captivating the audience and creating moments of pure magic.
DJ ABD was the heartbeat of the night, seamlessly syncing with the crowd’s vibe and keeping spirits high with an electrifying playlist.
Food, Fun & Fellowship
The event was not just about dance - it was a space for chitchats, laughter, and relaxation, where old friendships were rekindled and new ones blossomed.
A spread of delicious food kept everyone energized, with flavors that delighted every palate - truly the icing on the cake.
Ambience That Sparkled
The open-air setting, adorned with festive lights, colorful décor, and the rhythmic beats of dandiya, created a magical atmosphere under the stars - a perfect blend of tradition and celebration.
This Dandiya Night was more than an event; it was a testament to the spirit of BWS - celebrating togetherness, honoring heritage, and creating joyful memories.
