Vishu 2025 – A Celebration of Hope, Heritage, and Togetherness!!
The Bangalore Warrier Samajam came together on April 27, 2025, at ECA Indiranagar to celebrate the 4th edition of Vishu — a memorable day filled with tradition, tributes, vibrant performances, and an abundance of community spirit.
The event witnessed a whopping participation of close to 200 members, bringing alive the true spirit of family, faith, and togetherness.
The day began on a heartfelt note, with members paying homage to the victims of the Pahalgam tragedy, expressing deep solidarity with their families and the nation, and offering prayers for peace and harmony across the world.
This solemn tribute set the tone for a meaningful day of unity and reflection.
Following this, the Vishu Kani was presented in a serene and spiritual atmosphere, where members witnessed the Kani live, experiencing this auspicious sight as one big family — a moment that captured the very essence of Vishu.
The event officially commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony led by the Executive Committee members, symbolizing the light of hope, prosperity, and new beginnings.
This was followed by an invocation sloka beautifully recited by Mrs. Remadevi UV, invoking divine blessings for the new year.
President Shri. M V Vijayan warmly welcomed all attendees with his welcome address, and Secretary Shri. Gopakumar P T shared an inspiring message, both emphasizing the importance of preserving traditions and strengthening the spirit of community and culture.
Cultural Extravaganza:
The cultural performances showcased the talent, spirit, and artistic grace of the BWS family:
A delightful folk dance by Ananya Anish set an energetic and festive tone.
Young artist Vismayaa Sandeep filled the hall with devotion through her heartfelt rendition of "Kanni Ayyappanam Njan".
Beautiful songs were performed by Mrs. Archana K, Mr. Vinod Varier, Mrs. Geetha Sankar, Sowmya Jayaram, Mr. Krishnakumar, Mr. Sankar, and Ravi Warrier, enchanting the audience.
A special highlight was the classical duet by Mrs. Indu and Mrs. Bindu Warrier, whose graceful and synchronized performance added a touch of classical elegance to the evening.
Mrs. Sharanya Tejas impressed with her devotional song, presented with deep emotion and poise.
The cultural richness continued with a vibrant cinematic dance by Ms. Shivani G Dev and a mesmerizing Kuchipudi performance by Mrs. Neelima Keeran Venugopal.
Mrs. Prabha Vijayan’s graceful solo dance added charm and vibrancy to the stage.
A lively and enjoyable duet by Mrs Geetha Sankar and Mr. Sankar showcased their musical rapport and energy.
Mrs. Sarala Sudhakaran presented a heartfelt Malayalam poem that beautifully described what should be included in the Vishu Kani and highlighted the important traditions of Vishu celebrations, adding depth and meaning to the occasion.
Vishu Kainettam – A Touching Tradition
One of the most significant highlights of the day was the Vishu Kainettam ceremony, where senior members of the BWS family personally gave Vishu Kainettam to every attendee, blessing them with prosperity, happiness, and good fortune.
This touching and deeply personal tradition truly reinforced the feelings of warmth, respect, and belonging among the BWS members.
Entertainment and Engagement
Spontaneous laughter shots by Gopakumar and Baiju had the audience rolling with laughter and asking for more!
Throughout the day, Rajashree and Baiju served as the emcees, skillfully engaging the audience with vibrancy, humor, games, challenges, and spot quizzes — keeping the spirits high and the energy alive across the entire event.
Gratitude and Acknowledgments
A special appreciation goes to the Program Management Team— Mrs. Rakhi Warrier, Mrs. Rajashree Warrier, Mr. Gopakumar P T, and Mr. Baiju —
for their outstanding conceptualization, meticulous design, and flawless execution of the day's events.
Their dedication and creativity ensured that Vishu 2025 was a memorable experience for everyone.
A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Jayan and Mr. Sudhakaran for their excellent stage arrangements, which beautifully complemented the festive spirit.
Sincere thanks also to all Executive Committee members for their unwavering coordination, support, and teamwork that made the event seamless and vibrant.
As the festivities drew to a close:
All participants were honored with mementos, appreciating their enthusiastic performances and wholehearted participation.
Joint Secretary Nandakumar delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who made the event a grand success.
The program concluded with the National Anthem, filling hearts with pride and unity.
Members later shared a sumptuous lunch, marking the perfect end to a vibrant and memorable day.

ബാംഗ്ളൂർ വാരിയർ സമാജം വിഷുവാഘോഷം
ബാംഗ്ളൂർ വാരിയർ സമാജത്തിൻ്റെ ഇക്കൊല്ലത്തെ വിഷുവാഘോഷം 27.04.2025 നു ബാഗ്ളൂരിലെ ഇന്ദിരാ നഗറിലുള്ള ഈ. സി. എ കെട്ടിടത്തിൽ വച്ചാഘോഷിച്ചു. ഈയിടെ കാശ്മീരിലുണ്ടായ വർഗ്ഗീയ കൂട്ടക്കൊലയിൽ ജീവൻ വെടിഞ്ഞവർക്കു വേണ്ടി മൗനപ്രാർത്ഥനയോടു കൂടി തുടങ്ങിയ ചടങ്ങിൽ അംഗങ്ങളും കുടുബാംഗങ്ങളും ചേർന്ന്.ഇരുനൂറോളം പേർ പങ്കെടുത്തു. നാട്ടിലെ സമ്പ്രദായമനുസരിച്ചുള്ള വിഷുകണി ഒരുക്കി പങ്കെടുത്ത എല്ലാവർക്കും സമാജത്തിൻ്റെ മുതിർന്ന അംഗങ്ങൾ വിഷുക്കൈനീട്ടവും നൽകി.
അദ്ധ്യക്ഷപ്രസംഗത്തിൽ ശ്രീമാൻ എം.വി. വിജയൻ സമാജം വരും കാലങ്ങളിൽ പല പല ആഘോഷങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം സമാജാംഗങ്ങൾക്കും സമൂഹത്തിലെ താഴെ തട്ടിലുള്ള ജനങ്ങൾക്കും ഉപകാരമാകുന്ന വിധത്തിൽ പല പദ്ധതികൾ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുണ്ടെന്ന് എല്ലാവരേയും ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ച് വേണ്ട നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങളും അകമഴിഞ്ഞ സഹകരണവും അംഗങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകണമെന്നും അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ചു. സമാജത്തിൻ്റെ കാര്യദർശിയായ ശ്രീമാൻ ഗോപകുമാർ സമാജം ഭാവിയിൽ നടത്താനുദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പല പുതുപദ്ധതികളെ പറ്റിയുള്ള പ്രാഥമിക വിവരങ്ങൾ അംഗങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ചു.
സമാജം സമിതി അംഗങ്ങളായ ശ്രീമാൻ ബൈജു ശ്രീമതിമാർ രാജശ്രീ, രാഖി എന്നിവർ വേദിയിൽ നേതൃത്വം നൽകി 10.30 നു തുടങ്ങിയ പരിപാടിയിൽ അംഗങ്ങൾ.വിവിധ കലാവിരുന്നുകൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച് ഈ ആഘോഷത്തിൻ്റെ മാറ്റു കൂട്ടി. കലാപരിപാടികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച എല്ലാവർക്കും സമ്മാനദാനങ്ങളും നൽകി. അനന്തരം ഉപകാര്യദർശി ശ്രീമാൻ നന്ദകുമാർ വാരിയർ നന്ദി ആശംസിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം എല്ലാവരും കൂടി ദേശീയഗാനം പാടി ഉച്ചയ്ക്കു 2.00 മണിയോടു കൂടി ആഘോഷം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് അവിടെയൊരുക്കിയിരുന്ന സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ ഉച്ച ഭക്ഷണവും കഴിച്ചു എല്ലാവരും സന്തോഷത്തോടെപിരിഞ്ഞു.
